I went back to the Ukraine in January for about a week and a half. I was suppose to go and photograph Orphanages and the kids that occupy them but that didn't end up happening due to things not going as planned . I ended up on a train every other night going to different cities which i didn't mind. I didn't take that many photos because of the below zero temperature outside, but this is what i have/feel like putting on here.
This was taken in the middle of night somewhere in frozen country out of the train window. Most of the stops that the trains make are in eerie desolate towns. Train worker taking a smoke break
This is a preacher named Dima. He is a very interesting guy. Very calm, polite and easy going, but intimidating at the same time

These are some of the girls that help out in the Orphanage. They are all from and live in a city called Kharkov.
This girl grew up in one of the Orphanages and now helps out in them
This is Bogdan. He was at the summer camp that i photographed last summer. I didnt think i would get to see him but he showed up the day before we flew out. He also grew up in the orphanage and now helps out at them. He is one of my favorite people out there even though we can't even really communicate that well
